What you need to know Monday, Jan. 27 at the Minnesota House of Representatives
It’s the first workday after the Minnesota Supreme Court ruled 68 members are needed for a quorum.
And that means what for Monday? Other than things are fluid? And the high temperature should top the freezing mark.
All previously scheduled House committee meetings have been cancelled, leaving just a 3:30 p.m. Floor session planned. Will more than the 67 Republican members show up? Will Secretary of State Steve Simon be able to declare a quorum or will the gathering be brief? How are power-sharing negotiations going between the caucus speaker-designates?
We'll all find out together.
