Get ready for Election Day
On March 3, also known as Super Tuesday, Minnesotans will vote in a presidential nomination primary for the first time in nearly 30 years.
Find your polling place
Find out where to vote on the Secretary of State’s website.
Register to vote on Election Day
You can register or update your registration when you vote. Remember to bring proof of residence.
If you changed your name or address since the last election, you will need to update your registration.
View election results
After the polls close, results will be available on both Hennepin County's website and the Secretary of State’s website.
Vote absentee through March 2
Vote absentee in-person
Vote absentee in-person at your city office or at the Hennepin County Government Center downtown Minneapolis. Starting February 25, absentee voters can place ballots directly into a ballot counter instead of envelopes.
Vote absentee by mail
Apply for an absentee ballot online or on paper. Ballots are mailed to voters within one to two days of receiving the application. Ballots can be returned in person or by pre-paid mail and must be received by March 3.
