Last year, there was high interest in titles like William Kent Krueger’s “Desolation Mountain” across formats. It made the audiobooks list and the fiction list. Types of nonfiction included self-improvement, history and memoir, with Michelle Obama’s “Becoming” topping the nonfiction list.

February is Black History Month but both our African American fiction and nonfiction lists highlight the contributions and achievements of African Americans year round. Explore the Black experience in the United States through these novels, biographies and histories.
Find short stories by author, title, genre, subject and other key words. The detailed indexing helps you locate where stories were published and includes some full-text stories. They come from collections and anthologies published each year going back to 1984 in all literary genres.
Enable borrowing history if you want to automatically track your items as you return them. The items are listed by the date you returned them, most recent first, and the list is kept indefinitely. You can sort them by return date, title, author and format. It's not possible to add other items to borrowing history or to remove individual items. You can delete your entire borrowing history by disabling it.
To turn on the feature, under My Account, go to My Settings and then Account Preferences. Once it’s active, you can view what you have borrowed from that time forward from the main My Account menu.
