Weaver Lake Road (County Road 109) in Maple Grove
Overnight work begins Wednesday
Starting Wednesday, May 29, crews began repaving Weaver Lake Road (County Road 109) between the bridge over I-94 and Elm Creek Boulevard (County Road 130).
This work is done in stages. First, we ground away, or mill, the existing pavement. Then, we pave, or overlay, a new layer of pavement. Finally, we add new striping and pavement markings.
Due to the nature of this work and the weather, the exact start and finish dates may vary. Weather permitting, this repaving work is expected to be completed in roughly two consecutive nights.
Repaving to impact traffic – expect overnight delays
The majority of the work will be completed under traffic. This means people can continue to use the road. You should expect delays and traffic configuration changes when traveling through the area between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Flaggers may also be on site to help guide people driving on Weaver Lake Road.
Staying safe
For your safety and the safety of our crews, we ask that you obey all posted speed limits and slow down where crews are working.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue project work in this area.
