What's the buzz?

One of the trends in worksite wellness is the emphasis on mental health. Many employers now include mental health education, support, and resources in their comprehensive wellness programs. While worksites can be one of the most important places to address mental health, employers are often unsure of how to address this topic.

The good news is that employers are now finding ways to integrate mental health into their policies on safety, working conditions and workload, health care coverage, and employee assistance programs. Influence and Co. shares their five-step process for how they rewrote and implemented their mental health policy.

Willing, but still unsure what you can do to improve mental health in your workplace?

  • Start the conversation with the Make It OK Campaign. Visit the website, click on “Organizations,” and check out ways to take action. You can invite a speaker (free!), download a campaign, and more.
