Witness community conversation about racial disparities and homelessness

The community will kick off an initiative on Tuesday, November 27, to address racial disparities among people experiencing homelessness.

Across the nation and locally, people of color are disproportionately more likely to experience homelessness. Hennepin County and the City of Minneapolis are joining a national initiative, called Supporting Partnerships for Anti-Racist Communities, to examine root causes of these disparities. The Center for Social Innovation, a social justice organization, is organizing this initiative.

Tuesday, November 27, 2-4 p.m.

Sabathani Community Center, 310 East 38th Street, Minneapolis

All are welcome

  • Jacob Frey, mayor, City of Minneapolis
  • Robert Lilligren, president and CEO, Native American Community Development Institute
  • Alex Tittle, disparity reduction director, Hennepin County
  • Jeff Olivet, senior advisor, Center for Social Innovation
