Child Well-Being Advisory Committee update

Members of the Child Well-Being Advisory Committee will update the Hennepin County Board at a briefing Thursday morning. Committee members, including Commissioner Mike Opat, will report to the board.

After the first full year of work to flip the child welfare system to a child-well-being model, members will describe work to reduce the occurrence of maltreatment, improve outcomes for kids and families and increase staffing to reduce caseloads.
