County kicks off 2018 construction season

Additional projects and activities

During the year, county crews will be working on several other projects, including some that involve bridge reconstruction, improving county roads and intersections, adding bike lanes and updating pedestrian ramps.

In the next few weeks, operations and maintenance crews will begin several smaller-scale road and bridge projects, including road repaving, restriping and pavement sealing projects, as well as bridge maintenance activities.

Crews from cities, transit organizations and utilities will also be working on county roads this season, in collaboration with the county.

The county is a partner on the Minnesota Department of Transportation's 35W@94 reconstruction project. Visit www.mndot.gov/35w94 for more information about this multi-year project that includes improved transit access and updates to Lake Street (County Road 3).
