County accepting applications for watershed district citizen advisory boards

The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners is recruiting volunteers for the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District Board and Lower Minnesota River Watershed District Board.

The board appoints residents to volunteer service positions on advisory boards, commissions, councils and special task forces. Appointees advise commissioners and help set policy on watershed issues.

Application process

• Interested citizens can apply online at www.hennepin.us/advisoryboards. 
• Hennepin County will accept applications through February 22.
• The board will conduct interviews beginning February 27.
