Enjoy a day of free health and wellness activities at Fit4Fun

Enjoy a day of laughter, movement and play at the sixth annual Fit4Fun event Saturday, September 9, hosted by NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center.

This year, Fit4Fun will join Open Streets West Broadway, an event for people to explore their neighborhoods and local businesses as they bike, walk or roll on streets closed to vehicle traffic.

Fit4Fun featured activities

Move, learn and connect with your community through the following events and activities:

  • Family-friendly one- or three-mile walk or run
  • Bicycle tour on North Minneapolis bike trails
  • Yoga
  • Line dancing
  • Zumba
  • Obstacle courses 
  • Giveaways – including 40 free bikes   
  • Music
  • Healthy eating tips
  • Health screenings

Five years of fun and fitness

About one thousand community members attend Fit4Fun each year. Since the first event five years ago, 270 people have volunteered at the event and 200 people have received free bikes.

NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center has made it a priority to engage our community in critical conversations surrounding health equity and the social determinants of health, as we strive to aid people to make better-informed decisions concerning health and wellness. We are committed to providing people accessible options and opportunities for people to improve their physical fitness.
