 Join the Sheriff's Office in celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Residents throughout the county will be holding block parties and attending large community celebrations in an effort to promote safety and crime prevention. It's a great opportunity to meet officers and deputies from area law enforcement agencies.
Let us know if you are planning to host a National Night Out block party or community event. Sheriff's deputies, K9 teams, and many of our personnel will be visiting gatherings to meet neighbors and discuss public safety.

 On Wednesday, June 14, 2017, the Sheriff's Office conducted its annual summer warrant sweep. The sweep focused on drug-related warrants and was part of a larger "Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Opioid Prevention Day".
The warrant sweep might be over, but the Sheriff's Office and local law enforcement agencies actively pursue and arrest individuals with warrants daily. The Sheriff's Office encourages anyone with an outstanding warrant to proactively take care of it.
