County board seeks volunteer for Human Resources Board

The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for one vacancy on the Human Resources Board. Al Giraud-Isaacson has resigned from the board.

This board establishes rules for classified positions, makes investigations, hears and decides appeals, and submits an annual report to the county board on Hennepin County's Human Resources Department.

Board members must be Hennepin County residents who are not a public official, candidates for public office or Hennepin County employees. Members must also not hold a position in a political party, except as a delegate.

Members serve four-year terms and meet monthly at the Hennepin County Government Center. 

The application deadline is July 21.
