Statewide Tornado Drill

The outdoor warning sirens will sound twice today.

Do you know what to do when you hear the outdoor warning sirens? You will be able to practice twice today during the statewide tornado drill.

Afternoon Tornado Drill ― 1:45 p.m.

  • Schools, businesses and other facilities are encouraged to conduct a tornado drill at this time.

Evening Tornado Drill ― 6:45 p.m.

  • The evening drill is important because tornadoes and other types of severe weather often occur between 3 to 8 p.m. The 6:45 p.m. tornado drill allows families and workers on later shifts to practice their sheltering plans.

#NOverdose Town Hall

The Sheriff's Office continues to provide parents, teachers and community members with the tools and resources they need to talk to their kids about drug abuse and intervene when drug use occurs. For that reason, we are looking forward to our next #NOverdose Town Hall at Eden Prairie High School on Tuesday, May 9 at 6 p.m.
