Hennepin County voter turnout results

As of Wednesday, November 9, in Hennepin County: 

  • Total voter turnout – nearly 684,000
  • Of this total, absentee ballots received and accepted (mail and in-person) – about 203,000

Hennepin County has more than doubled its previous record of accepted absentee ballots, which was 82,000 during the 2008 election.

Hennepin County voter was also up slightly compared to turnout in the last presidential election in 2012, which was 682,764.

The official count will be complete after canvassing occurs on Tuesday, November 15.

All results are posted on the Secretary of State’s election results website and at the Hennepin County elections results website.
