Greetings friends and collaborators of the Office of Equity, Opportunity, and Accessibility!
Last month I had the pleasure of pulling up for 4 public appearances, all centered on amplifying community priorities. In May OEOA hosted 2 convenings, and kicked off our statewide listening tour in the Mankato area.
Each stop we’ve made along the way, has provided timely insight to inform our next steps. Whether on screen or in the streets, advocates and allies are calling for 1) more transparent information and 2) an ecosystem that is responsive to the needs of the people first.
In the next fiscal year (starting July 1) we are excited to continue building bridges to make the work of state government more approachable, and platforms to ensure information is more accessible. As temperatures heat up this summer, stay tuned for updates about our key projects and priorities that will be coming in hot!
