Spring has sprung in Minnesota, and innovation is in full bloom all around the state! The Office of Equity, Opportunity, and Accessibility enjoyed time in community during four public appearances and Mind, Body, and Soul. Key themes that emerged last month were centered around:
-
Unity shared humanity and community care.
-
Collaboration resourcefulness and resource sharing.
-
Lived Experience resiliency and centering the margins.
Behind the scenes OEOA has made strides identifying key partners across the state, to support our mission to translate community priorities into systems change. Across sectors, we are leaning into existing resources and creating tools where necessary bridge the gap between community and the ecosystem that serves them. Together our efforts will elevate community voice, and maximize our potential to make Minnesota the best place for kids to grow up. As temperatures continue to rise in the Land of (over) 10,000 Lakes, we look forward to joining you at gatherings and in your own efforts to make our state a beacon of equity, opportunity, and accessibility for the country!
