On her first day out at the Fair, Tina was at the gates when they opened at 6:00 am to meet with fairgoers. She presented a proclamation declaring it "Great Minnesota Get Together Day" at the Fair - and of course, got some mini donuts and fried green tomatoes.
On her second day at the Fair, Tina joined U of M President Eric Kaler and Minnesota 4-H for a tour of the swine and poultry barns, and hosted some events with the Department of Public Safety and Smokey Bear to talk about fire safety.
On Saturday, Tina met with farmers at the Minnesota Farm Bureau booth, and presented a proclamation for "Eco Experience Day at the Minnesota State Fair."
The next day, Tina took a bus to the Fair to show how easy it is to get to the Fair by mass transit, and stopped by the Department of Education booth to read a story, "Giraffes Can't Dance," to kids.
 On Monday, Tina met with Princess Kay royalty (and enjoyed a delicious malt!) at the Dairy Building, and presented the proclamation for “Minnesota State Patrol Day.”
The next day, Tina welcomed veterans, military service members, and their families to “Military Appreciation Day” at the Minnesota State Fair, and stopped by the Minnesota Farmers Union for an interview with Linder Farm Network.
 On Wednesday, Tina presented “Minnesota Brewer & Vintner Day” with the Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild and Minnesota Wine Country at the Minnesota State Fair, and interviewed with the Star Tribune and WCCO News.
 On her last day at the Fair, Tina was interviewed by Tom Weber of MPR News and joined the Department of Commerce for a senior fraud prevention event at the Fair.
