According to Cervenka, Minnesota has had one of the wettest years (January to July) on record since 1871, so this fall should be brimming with color. Fiery red, vivid yellow and blazing orange leaves are beginning to appear in trees and shrubs in some areas of Minnesota. Bright fall wildflowers are abundant, and the prairie grasses have taken on rich gold and red hues along trails and roadways.
