Project description: The Wild Rice Watershed District proposes to install a series of rock arch rapids within a 13-mile stretch of the South Branch Wild Rice River from the town of Ulen downstream to County Road 110 in Clay County, Minnesota. The proposed project is an effort to restore the river's connection with its floodplain, thereby reducing flood damage, erosion, and sediment transport, as well as restore floodplain habitats and provide continued fish passage.

Project description: Dem-Con Landfill is an existing 362-acre Class III Demolition Landfill in Louisville Township, Scott County, Minnesota. Dem-Con Landfill, LLC is permitted (SW-290) to accept construction and demolition (C&D) debris and certain types of industrial waste. Dem-Con Landfill, LLC proposes to convert approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of permitted C&D airspace to MSW airspace over an 81-acre fill area. Project description: The study area encompasses approximately 152 acres on 4 parcels in the City of Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota. Olam Holdings is proposing to develop the study area from existing farmland to light industrial or office park uses. The study area can be accessed primarily by 215th W St (CSAH 70) to the north. Secondary access points to the study area also include Jacquard Ave to the east and Kaparia Ave to the west. Two scenarios are proposed for evaluation. Scenario 1 includes multiple buildings for a total of 1,360,000 square feet of a proposed light industrial development. Scenario 2 includes multiple buildings for a total of 1,075,000 square feet of industrial and 285,000 square feet of office space. Aerial Application of Herbicides for Reforestation Purposes
Notice description: The MN Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry conducts reforestation activities, or planting, seeding and tending of established tree seedlings, on over ten thousand state forest acres a year using many tools. From August 15 to September 15, 2025, DNR is planning to aerially apply herbicides on a small portion of those acres to prepare sites for upcoming tree planting and seeding as well as release established tree seedlings from competitive vegetation. Herbicide applications will occur using a helicopter on 15 sites comprising 434 acres in Roseau, Cass, Wadena, Becker, St. Louis, Lake, and Pine Counties in the Warroad, Backus, Park Rapids, Sandstone, Tower, and Two Harbors DNR Forestry administrative areas. All projects have been planned, reviewed, and approved following DNR Division of Forestry Pesticide Use Guidelines. Wright & Sherburne Counties Highway 25 Area PEL Final Study Report Public Comment
Notice description: Wright and Sherburne Counties initiated a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study for the Highway 25 area from Interstate 94 to US Highway 10 and from Becker to County Road 43. In accordance with Title 23 U.S. Code (USC) Sec. 168, the counties and FHWA are planning to adopt the PEL Study results into any future National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) processes undertaken for this study area, therefore the agencies are adhering to the legal requirements of transportation planning required by Title 23 USC Sec. 134-135, 23 USC 168, and title 49 USC Sec. 5303-5306 and Title 42 USC Sec. 4332, Title 40 CFR Part 1500-1508, and Title 23 CFR Part 771. The Final Study Report provides an overview of the PEL process and includes guidance for future NEPA processes. Comments are open until July 24, 2025: www.surveymonkey.com/r/Hwy25PEL.
