Project description: The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) Southern Minnesota Regional Office and Laboratory is a proposed Project involving the construction of a two-story 55,600 sq. ft. forensic laboratory and investigations facility in Mankato, MN, to support criminal investigations, forensic analysis, and law enforcement training. The new building will be constructed on a 5.87 parcel owned by the State of Minnesota, directly north of the Blue Earth County Justice Center. The Project includes site development, utility extensions, and infrastructure improvements to serve the southern region of Minnesota's law enforcement.

Project description: The Upper Harbor Terminal Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) study area encompasses an area totaling approximately 53 acres in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The AUAR study area consists of 10 parcels, nine which are owned by the City of Minneapolis and one owned by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB). United Properties, in partnership with Port of Minneapolis, LLC (First Avenue Productions and the Minnesota Orchestra), MPRB, and the City of Minneapolis, is proposing to redevelop the 53-acre Upper Harbor Terminal site, which was formerly used as a barge shipping terminal. Coneflower Solar Environmental Assessment Availability
Notice description: The Minnesota Department of Commerce issued an environmental assessment (EA) for the project on March 26, 2025. The purpose of the EA is to provide information on the potential human and environmental impacts of the proposed project, possible mitigations for identified impacts, and evaluation of any alternatives contained in the scoping decision. Coneflower Energy is proposing to construct an up to 235 MW solar energy generating system in Custer Township in Lyon County, Minnesota. The proposed project would be located on 2,229 acres, and use photovoltaic solar panels mounted on single axis tracking systems The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission will hold public hearings on the application of Coneflower Energy, LLC for a site permit for the up to 235 MW alternating current photovoltaic solar energy generating system and associated facilities in Lyon County, Minnesota.

Notice description: In the Matter of the Application of Snowshoe BESS, LLC for a Site Permit for the up to 150 MW Snowshoe Energy Storage Project in Olmstead County, Minnesota. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) will hold public hearings on Snowshoe BESS, LLC's (Snowshoe) application for a site permit to construct an up to 150-megawatt (MW) alternating current (AC) battery energy storage system with approximately 600 megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy capacity in Kalmar Township, Olmsted County, Minnesota.
