The Project will include 475 market rate multifamily residential units, 27 townhome units, a retail/event center, and park/open space areas with public amenities including an outdoor turf amphitheater. The Project is located in the southeast quadrant of Thompson Avenue East and South Robert Street. Project description: Hempel Real Estate (Proposer) proposes to develop a light industrial park in the northeastern portion of the City of Corcoran (RGU). The Project would create two industrial buildings, totaling approximately 540,000 square feet. The developer plans to construct the project in two phases and building are intended for a mix of industrial uses, including distribution and manufacturing. The Project would include construction of public improvements, including access roads connecting to County State Aid Highway 101 (CSAH 101), pedestrian improvements, and stormwater management. Construction of the Project is anticipated to begin in summer 2025, with completion of phase 1 in summer 2026.
