Traveling Birthday Treats

At the November CTE leadership team meeting we discussed the tradition of allowing students to walk around the building during the school day to deliver treats to various staff members.  While this is very thoughtful (and tasty!), the interruption to instruction when the birthday treats are brought into classrooms and other areas where instruction or meetings are occurring is very distracting to student learning and can sometimes breach confidentiality.

Beginning January 2, students may still bring a treat to share on their special day, but they will be enjoyed only in their own classroom.

News from the District

Open Enrollment Registration Reminder for the 2020-2021 School Year

Do you currently open enroll your children and have another student/s to open enroll? There is no need to submit an application for children already attending grades K-12 at Centennial Schools. Once enrolled, students remain enrolled; however, if you have other children you are also hoping to open enroll into the school district for next school year, you must complete an Open Enrollment Application and submit beginning November 1, 2019 - January 15, 2020.

Do you live outside the Centennial School District and plan to enroll in kindergarten for the 2020-2021 School Year? You will need to submit an Open Enrollment Application beginning November 1, 2019 - January 15, 2020.
