books

CEPO's Bingo for Books is Thursday, November 7
from 6-8 pm
.

Drop off your gently used "school appropriate" books for ALL AGES in the front office between 8 am-4 pm.  We'd love all types of books: fiction, non-fiction, story books, cookbooks, sports books, travel books, mysteries, autobiographies, science fiction, etc. Thank you!

  • Extra parking available in the west lot off Lever st.
  • Please enter through the front office

Fri., Nov. 1           2 hour late start day for students   

  • no morning Kids Club (staff have training)
  • buses run 2 hours later than scheduled 
  • students may arrive at school no earlier than 10:55 am

Thurs., Nov. 7       CEPO Bingo and Books Night 6-8 pm; Join us! 

Fri., Nov. 8     No school for students
                      (staff grading, parent communication, content development)

Tues., Nov. 12      Open Enrollment info night at District Office boardroom, 6 pm

Wed., Nov. 13       CEPO meeting in CTE Conference Room, 5:30-7 pm

Thurs., Nov. 14     Gr. 4 music program at Performing Arts Center, 7 pm

A local company has generously donated Halloween buckets and Halloween themed items (pencils, candy, etc.) for each of our students to enjoy.  Students will be bringing this item home on or before Thursday, Oct. 31st.

News from the District

Open Enrollment Registration Reminder for the 2020-2021 School Year

Do you currently open enroll your children and have another student/s to open enroll? There is no need to submit an application for children already attending grades K-12 at Centennial Schools. Once enrolled, students remain enrolled; however, if you have other children you are also hoping to open enroll into the school district for next school year, you must complete an Open Enrollment Application and submit beginning November 1, 2019 - January 15, 2020.

Do you live outside the Centennial School District and plan to enroll in kindergarten for the 2020-2021 School Year? You will need to submit an Open Enrollment Application beginning November 1, 2019 - January 15, 2020.

Holiday fun:

Dec. 7 Breakfast with Santa (family, children up to age 10)

A fun, family-favorite activity.  Come have a relaxed Santa visit and enjoy a light breakfast and crafts and cookie decorating for the kids.  This event is held Saturday, Dec. 7, 9-10:30 am, Centennial Elementary. 

Dec. 7- Grandparent Holiday Crafting & Baking (ages 3-8 w/ grandparent/s)

Enjoy quality time with your grandparent/s handcrafting fall-inspired creations including leaf clay dishes and a fun pumpkin treat.  This activity is held Saturday, Dec. 7 at Rice Lake Elementary.
