News From Kathy Kaiser

Top Fundraisers

We would like to thank everyone who donated to the Centennial Stroll, and to those who volunteered or sat in the stands to cheer on the students during our annual fundraiser.  The weather was a little chilly, but everyone seemed to enjoy this event.

In total we raised more than $10,600. This is a great fundraising accomplishment by our students!  The top two fundraisers per grade level (listed below) earned a limo lunch, and the top fundraiser also received a $50 Target gift card.

Kindergarten: Griffin Rosenberger (Neibergall), Landen Shegstad (Brovold)

1st: Kieran McConnell (Land), Parker Miller (Land), Ethan VanderLaan (Guthmueller)

2nd: Elyse May (Molitor), Josephine Steinhoff (Molitor)

3rd: Kate VanderLaan (Alonzi), Amelia Pole (Alonzi)

4th: Emma Nelson (McCready), Jameson Blaker-McDonald (McCready)

5th: Natasha Timko (Magnuson), Andrew Nuutinen (Magnuson)

An Important Update from Lifetouch About Fall Photo Orders

At Lifetouch, we strive to provide the highest quality portraits and products and know how important these memories are to you/your students and families. We are aware that, despite our best efforts, some of our customers have recently received blurry wallet-sized prints.

We are working hard to correct the issue that caused this, and we will send you replacements as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, and we value the trust you place in us to capture and preserve your important memories.

Information regarding Lifetouch Retake Day

Students wanting picture retakes on October 15th should return their original photo package to school.   New students or those absent on the Sept. 10th picture day may order online, visit and enter Picture ID EVT3SBSP4, or pick up an order form in the office.  Questions?  Please contact Lifetouch at 800-736-4753.

Parking for Parent Teacher Conferences/Book Fair Nights

Parent Teacher conferences and the Book Fair are October 10th and 15th.  Please be aware that the high school has choir concerts at the Performing Arts Center on both of these nights. The west parking lot (off Lever St.) will be open to help alleviate parking congestion.

On Friday, October 4 students at Centennial Elementary participated in Kindness in Chalk.  Students wrote positive and happy messages on the sidewalks of our school.  Please enjoy these pictures from this fun event!
