Message from the Principal....

Centerville Parents,

Centerville is a great community where people truly come together to help the children.  Here are a few examples of our incredible community partnerships.

First, is the partnership that the school has with Asian To Go.  I want to send out a special thank you to this local business for supporting our PBIS program.  Every other Tuesday Asian To Go gives Centerville Elementary 10% of their gross sales.  In 2018 Centerville Elementary received $2,816.  We use these funds throughout the year to support our PBIS program.  This includes assemblies, tickets and prizes.  The goal is for these positive acknowledgements to promote the 4 R’s: Respect, Responsibility, Right choices and Readiness.

We are also working with Centennial Lakes Police school resource officers each Wednesday for 2 hours.  Your child, along with a couple of friends they invite, may be selected from our red PBIS tickets to have lunch in the conference room with the officer.  If your child is selected we will send a note home to inform you and give students the chance to think of questions they may want to ask.  I believe students will truly enjoy this opportunity.

Finally, I want to thank Dairy Queen for their donation of coupons for free mini Blizzards, ice cream cones, sundaes, dilly bars and DQ cakes. These will be used as reading incentives and PBIS acknowledgements.

Centerville Elementary students are extremely fortunate to have such a supportive community.

Happy New Year!
