Message from the Principal....

The next CPTA meeting will be Tuesday, October 23rd 6:30-7:30 as we shifted the date due to conferences. Free childcare provided.

We hope to see you all there as we learn about the new reading curriculum and meet 2nd and 4th grade staff!

2nd Annual Halloween Hustle

Below is a link to sign up for the 2nd annual Halloween Hustle.  Last year was a fantastic time and lots of people joined.  Can we get double the participation?

Direct Drive Information

We are excited to announce that the CPTA will once again be having a Direct Drive for our fall fundraiser.  We continue to hear from an overwhelming number of families that they prefer direct donation over catalog fundraisers.  Donations will be accepted from September 24, 2018 through October 17, 2018.   Thanks to all the supportive Centerville Elementary families, this fundraiser has been a huge success the past several years.  The money that is raised in this fundraiser will be used for technology and school initiatives.

*  Every student who makes a donation (no matter the size) will receive a prize.

*  Every student who raises $50 or more receives a t-shirt.

*  Every student who raises $100 or more receives a limo ride.

*  The classroom that raises the most money will receive a pizza party.

After the first week, we have the top 3 classrooms so far:

Lisa Brown, Christy Hamblin, Stacie Ebnet Dietz

Below is the link to get all the information about the fundraiser.

CERF Reading Teacher Conference Information

Michelle Boespflug, the Centerville CERF reading teacher, will be available during parent-teacher conferences from 4:00-8:00 on Monday, October 15 and Tuesday, October 16 if you would like additional information regarding your child’s reading progress in CERF.  If you’d like a scheduled conference time, please contact her at 763-792-5831 or at to set up a 5-10 minute conference in room 110 in the 1st and 2nd grade wing.  If your child is in her first grade reading group, she is already scheduled to attend your child’s homeroom conference.  Also, additional reading resources and ideas will be available near her room 110 for parents to access. Thank you for your continued support in your child’s literacy progress!

Conference Potluck Sign-Up

Fall Conferences will be here Monday, October 15th and Tuesday, October 16th.  Because these days are very long for our teachers, we like to provide them with food, so they can grab a bite to eat before their evening begins, or during conference breaks.

Please use the Signup Genius below if you are willing to donate.  We would like all items to be at school by 3 PM on the day of conferences to give us time to set it all up.

Thank you for your generosity!

If you have any questions, please call Judy Montain in the office at 763-792-5804.
