Centennial High School’s Sunshine Committee is designed to help spread joy and support to our Centennial High School staff.  If a staff member gets married, retires, has a baby or loses a loved one, our committee sends our support and a gift. We also organize monthly staff events such as bagel day, Dilly bar day, a soup potluck, a cookout, a staff Twins game, and more. In the future, we are hoping to provide meals for teachers on parent/teacher conference nights as well.

While the elementary and middle schools have active parent organizations to support their teachers, the high school does not have a similar PTO.  Therefore our Sunshine Committee is funded solely by donations from the staff members themselves.

This year our committee is reaching out to parents, community members and local businesses to see if they’d like contribute something to make our staff members smile.  This could be a monetary donation, commitment to help feed the staff during parent teacher conferences, or other contributions. If you are willing to help, please contact Jessica Robinson (jrobinson@isd12 or 763-792-5066) in the West building at the high school.

Our hard working staff thanks you!
