Tuesday, January 2nd:  Beginning Band Night, 6:30 pm, MS Auditorium

 Information for 5th Grade Families

5th Grade Family Information Night

5th Grade Family Information Night will be held on Thursday, January 4th at Centennial Middle School.  There will be two presentations in the MS auditorium that evening:  one at 5:30 pm (last names A-L) and one at 6:30 pm (last names M-Z).  The building will be open for self-guided tours from 5:30-7:30 pm.  Please plan to leave enough time for touring the building with your "future 6th grader" either after the 5:30 session or prior to the 6:30 session. 

Note:  Online course registration will begin on Friday, January 5th, so make sure you have your student's ID number and a Parent Portal account prior to that date.  Student ID numbers can be found in the Parent Portal.

5th Grade Special Education Programming Q & A Sessions

Brief question and answer sessions will also be held at 5 pm and 6 pm at Centennial Middle School for Special Education families on Thursday, January 4th.  Please plan to attend whichever session best works for your schedule. 

CMS Band Registration

6th Grade Band Information Night will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 6:30 pm in the CMS Auditorium!  Registration forms are due by February 12th.

High School Registration Night

CHS Registration Information Night is from 5:00-7:15 on Monday, January 8th Administration/Counselors will run two information sessions.  One from 5:00-5:45 and one from 6:30-7:15.   Families A-L will be at 5:00 and families M-Z will be at 6:30. 

  • Families will be welcome in the building from 5:00 – 7:15.  In addition to the information sessions at 5:00 and 6:30, families will have the opportunity to talk with teacher representatives from each department from 5:00-7:00 in the Learning Commons.

Community Education

Save the Date!  FREE Viewing of Screenagers

Parents and kids (ages 10+) are invited to view this award-winning documentary together, Mon., Feb. 26, 6:30 pm at CMS Auditorium. 

The film focuses on the topic of children and teens and screen time.  Learn how to empower kids to best navigate the digital world.  A panel discussion will follow the viewing of the film.  This free event is made possible through a grant from the Anoka County Youth Initiative, funds from the Anoka County Library and funds from the Centennial Middle School Parent Organization.  Go online to view the Winter 2018 Activity Guide for more details:
