Grading and Report Cards

The first quarter of school ended November 9th.  We wanted to inform you that the teaching staff is very busy completing the process of grading at this time.  As you can imagine, tests, finals, homework and projects will all need to be reviewed and graded by the teachers before the process is complete.  We don’t want to cause you any undue stress if you are looking at your child’s grades on Parent Portal between now and next Monday, November 13th, as grades are subject to change while this process is finalizing.  Thank you very much.

Register Now for Targeted Services Classes!

Targeted Services registration is now open!  These services are free after-school activities to help students improve in a variety of areas, such as math, language arts and study skills.  Sessions are available Monday-Thursday from 3:05-4:30 pm.  Students will even be able to take the activity bus home.

Peace Poster

Peace Poster Contest

Again this year CMS students had the opportunity to participate in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest.  Each year Lions Clubs around the world proudly sponsor this contest.  Millions of children from nearly 100 countries have participated in this contest. The theme of the 2017-18 Peace Poster contest is “The Future of Peace.” Students ages 11, 12, or 13 on November 15th are eligible to participate. We had a wonderful array of art work submitted by our CMS students! Thanks to all who participated.

Congratulations to our Peace Poster contest finalists!
