State of Minnesota Veterans Day Program

WHAT :

The official State of Minnesota Veterans Day Program is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, November 11 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, the Minnesota Commanders’ Task Force and Governor Mark Dayton invite Veterans, families, elected officials, and community members to celebrate and honor all Veterans who have served this country with bravery. This year the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs selected the Minnesota State Veterans Day Program as an official regional site for 2013. The morning will feature a free community breakfast from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. followed by a program from 10 – 11 a.m.
