 This half-day free seminar will provide information to employers on the military culture, state initiatives, and actual testimonies from employers and veterans.
Leaders in Veteran Employment will include demographic information as well as: challenges veterans face in finding employment, understanding the military culture, and Yellow Ribbon Companies – what can companies do to support veterans, military members and military families. Additionally, companies will gain the perspective from employers on why hiring veterans is good business and hear from veterans on how they believe the military experience contributes to their civilian careers, lessons learned and about best practices from companies, as well as learn about state initiatives.
