Incident Communications Center Manager (INCM) Training to be Held in St. Cloud on October 16, 17, and 18, 2018

INCM

An Incident Communications center Manager three-day training course is being offered this October.

Sponsored by ECN and hosted by the City of St. Cloud, this course will be taught by instructors from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Emergency Communications (OEC).

Dates: Tuesday through Thursday, October 16-18, 2018

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day

Location: St. Cloud Fire Station 2, 727 Anderson Ave, St. Cloud, MN 56303

This course is designed to prepare public safety communication professionals for managing all functions in the Incident Communications Center.

Prerequisites include completion of several online courses and an awareness of fundamental public safety communications technology.

Online courses required:

IS-144, Telecommunicators Emergency Response Taskforce (TERT Basic Course)

IS-100C, Intro to the Incident Command System

IS-200B, ICS for Single Resources and Initial Incidents

IS-700B, National Incident Management System (NIMS), an Introduction

IS-800C, National Response Framework (NRF)

Also recommended is ICS-300, Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents (in-person classroom training).

**NOTE: Some of the IS courses have recently been updated, and prerequisites require that you have the most updated course certificate.
