Greater Minnesota Transit Plan
 Submit feedback on the plan
Do you use transit in Greater Minnesota? We would like to hear from you.
We recently opened a 45-day public comment period for our Greater Minnesota Transit Plan. This plan will update our transit policies, assess mobility needs, and establish goals and strategies for public transit. The draft plan is now available for public comment.
“Transit is a key component of Minnesota’s multimodal transportation system, contributing to the health of people, the environment, and the economy,” said Nancy Daubenberger, MnDOT commissioner. “MnDOT strives to make quality public transit systems for citizens across the state. Listening to our stakeholders is part of our mission to provide dependable multimodal transportation systems.”
What’s next
We'll collect comments online from June 3 through July 20, and we invite the public to participate in two virtual listening sessions:
Each session will cover the same content, so participants can attend at whatever time best suits their needs.
Following the public comment period, we'll hold final meetings with each project committee to present the results of public feedback and any proposed revisions.
Project staff will refine the plan based on public feedback and pursue approval by the end of 2026.
