There are a few new construction updates for Hwy 100
that could affect your travel plans. All work is weather dependent and could change.
Please note that northbound Hwy 100 will be reduced to a single lane from 10
p.m. Fri. Aug. 12 – 10 p.m. Sat. Aug 13,
it will not be
completely closed.
Road and Lane Closures
10 p.m. Fri, Aug. 12 to 10 p.m. Sat, Aug. 13
- Southbound Hwy 100 between Hwy 62 and I-394 will be closed
- Northbound Hwy 100 between Excelsior Blvd and Minnetonka Blvd will be reduced to a single lane
Crews
could begin closing ramps at 9 p.m. please have an alternate route planned.
Ramp Closure
Sat. Aug. 13 through late-fall
- Southbound Hwy 100 ramp to 36th St/Excelsior Blvd will be closed. It will remain closed until late-fall. Crews will re-establish an exit from southbound Hwy 100 to Excelsior Blvd in approximately one week, weather permitting.
Note: Motorists on southbound Hwy 100 should exit on Minnetonka Blvd or 50th St. to access 36th St/Excelsior Blvd
Reopening of 77th St. Bridge
Several people
have asked about reopening the 77th Street Bridge over Hwy 100 in
Edina. Thank you for your patience. We will reopen the bridge by the end of
next week or the beginning of the following week. Please keep in mind we will
close the bridge again for about a week after Labor Day to finish our work.
