Draft Plan Posted
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ North and East Metro Groundwater Management Area Draft Plan is available for your review.
Over the past year, DNR has received feedback at monthly meetings from a team of twenty-one stakeholders about the proposed North and East Metro Groundwater Management Area plan. Now it’s time for you to “Add Your Voice” to the discussion.
A feedback survey is available and your comments on the Draft Plan can also be sent to the email address: NEMetroGWMA.dnr@state.mn.us.
Comments can be submitted through March 31, 2015.
Notice of Local Meetings
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is hosting three local meetings in February to present the North & East Metro Groundwater Management Area (GWMA) Draft Plan and to hear your comments and ideas for improving it. The plan describes actions the DNR will take over the next five years to achieve a sustainable supply of groundwater for communities and the environment.
The draft plan, a short survey and additional information about the project are posted on the North & East Metro GWMA project webpage.
