Aggregate Resource Mapping News: Kanabec County Map Released

KANABEC COUNTY FINAL MAP RELEASED

The Kanabec County Sand and Gravel Resource Potential Map and related GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data were released for public distribution on February 22, 2012.  The GIS data produced with this project includes sand and gravel resource mapping units, gravel pit survey, field observations, aggregate quality information, and sampling results.  You can access this information by:

• Viewing the map at the Mora Public Library, 200 Maple Ave. W. Mora, MN 55051; 320-679-2642
• Downloading the digital map and related GIS data at the Kanabec County Aggregate Resource Mapping webpage
• Interactively viewing the GIS data using Aggregate Mapper
