Nominations for 2016 Firearms Safety Instructor of the Year Needed

Please take time to recognize those individual volunteer safety instructors who have gone above and beyond to make our youth Firearms Safety program a success in your local community. Most of us know a few dedicated volunteer instructors who ‘go the extra mile’.

Please take a few minutes to nominate a deserving volunteer safety instructor. The nomination form is now available on the DNR website at: Nomination Forms.

The deadline for nominations is March 1, 2017.

Attention ATV Safety Instructors

A NEW PowerPoint for ATV Safety training classes will be available after March 1, 2017. The PowerPoint will include classroom activities which reviews ATV laws and related safety components. The PowerPoint is Optional and will be preloaded on a jump drive. Contact Brenda at enforcement.education@state.mn.us or call 320-412-1172 to request one.
