Work Comp Campus security, auditing procedures
The Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) maintains high security standards and rigorous auditing procedures to prevent unauthorized removal or alteration of data, to ensure Work Comp Campus remains available to all users and to prevent unauthorized attempts to upload or change information or otherwise cause damage to Campus or its users.
Campus will be updated beginning at 9 p.m., Thursday, April 22. During that time, anyone logging in will experience significant delays and longer than normal load times. This system update will focus on access to closed cases where no Notice of Appearance has been filed and there is no pending litigation. Removing immediate access to these closed cases should not only improve overall speed and system performance, but also decrease exposure to external cybersecurity threats. Further, you will notice a reduction in the number of cases or claims listed on your login dashboard.
This action is being taken in the wake of recent cybersecurity attacks reported by several Minnesota-based workers' compensation law firms and other Campus stakeholders. This effort should also be seen as further evidence of DLI's ongoing commitment to data integrity and system security for Campus users.
If you have any concerns about data entered or documents uploaded around this time, contact the Workers' Compensation Division Help Desk at 651-284-5005 (press 3), 800-342-5354 (press 3) or helpdesk.dli@state.mn.us for assistance. If you would like to reinstate access to a closed case, an updated Notice of Representation/Authorization will need to be filed with DLI.
We appreciate your understanding at this time as we prioritize the security of the system and move forward together to help make the Minnesota workers' compensation system and Campus operate efficiently and effectively for everyone.
