Scent policy reminder

Remember the Odyssey conference is a scent-free zone. Plan to limit or eliminate use of scented products including perfume/cologne, soaps, hair products, and other personal care products. Thank you for being considerate of others’ sensitivities to certain scents.

Check-in for pre-registered attendees

Check-in for pre-registered attendees opens at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31. If you are attending a pre-conference intensive, plan to check-in either before, during or after the intensive. Those NOT attending a pre-conference intensive are asked to wait until 9:30 a.m. to check-in.

Opening session and lunch information

The 2019 Odyssey conference will kick-off at 11:20 a.m. in the Lake Superior Ballroom. The Opening Session features a 10-minute play performance followed by lunch and a panel discussion. If you do not attend a pre-conference session, you can come to the ballroom to find your seat after 11 a.m.

This session will be streamed live. If you aren’t able to join us in person, plan to watch the opening session. The livestream will begin at 11:10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31.

Exhibit hall grand opening

Plan to explore the exhibit halls grand opening from 1 – 2 p.m. in the Edmund Fitzgerald and Pioneer halls.. It will be a fabulous affair featuring fabulous desserts, e-posters, an assisted technology experience, and the 2019 Mini-Film Festival (Pioneer Hall) and the Dashboard Demonstration (Edmund Fitzgerald Hall).

The exhibit halls will open at 10:30 a.m. for you to explore before the opening session begins.

I want to plan my day. Is the conference program available online?

Yes. The 2019 Odyssey Conference program is available on the Odyssey website.

How do I register for Odyssey?

Online registration closed July 14. If you missed this deadline, plan to register in-person with a credit card. On-site registration opens at 10:30 a.m., July 31.

I’m registered for the event. Is there anything I should bring to Odyssey?

All registered attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of their registration confirmation sent by GTS Educational Events.

I’m registered but now am unable to attend. What do I do?

All attendee registrations are fully transferrable to another person. Contact GTS Educational Events to transfer your registration. GTS Educational Events is available by phone: 952-885-7605, or email: gts@mngts.org.

Are CEUs available for Odyssey?

Certificates of attendance that note the number of hours completed will be available on the Odyssey website after the event for up to 6 months.
