Tree Trust’s Summer Youth Employment Program
This is an up-to-9-week paid outdoors work experience designed to help young people learn and practice basic job skills. All jobs pay $8.00 per hour and have an average of 20 scheduled hours per week from June 15 to August 14. Youth are encouraged to apply online but paper applications can be sent upon request. The application deadline is March 13th at 4pm.

Eligibility:

  • Be at least 14 years old and less than 22 years old on June 15, 2015
  • Have low family income, special needs and/or other risk factors (being in an MFIP household satisfies this criteria)
  • Live in suburban Hennepin counties (Minneapolis residents are served by the STEP-UP Program)

Goodwill-Easter Seals received funding through the state’s Women and High-Wage, High-Demand, Nontraditional Jobs Grant Program to help low income women and women over age 50 enter the construction trades.  Interested women will participate in 12 weeks of hands-on training in construction that includes job placement assistance.
