It's Not Too Late to Register!

BIOENERGY DELEGATION FROM SWEDEN

Minnesota companies active in, or wishing to learn more about, the bioenergy sector have an opportunity to meet three officials from the government of Sweden, visiting Minnesota November 13-15, 2013. In follow-up to Governor Mark Dayton signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Sweden in June, two officials from the Swedish Energy Agency and one from the Swedish Embassy will meet with a number of Minnesotans to explore bioenergy cooperation in the areas of industry, research and policy.

There will be a number of opportunities to meet with the delegation while they’re here  from November 13 to November 15.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MTO'S "EXPORT BY DESIGN: BUILD A PLAN FOR GROWTH!

The Minnesota Trade Office (MTO) is pleased to offer Export by Design: Build a Plan for Growth, a concise, customized export strategy and market development program.

Why export or expand in global markets? Recent studies indicate that firms who export are driving the U.S. economic recovery with revenue growth up to 37 percent, compared to just 7 percent growth for non-exporters.

Why design a plan? A clearly established, objective-based action plan strategically identifies international market entry or expansion and what it takes to get there.

We'll work with you. MTO will work with you to identify market opportunities, assess market entry options, provide guidance on strategies to find international business partners, and more.

China Practicum: A Compact Course on China

The Minnesota Trade Office’s China Practicum course can greatly improve your chances of success by providing essential background that every company must have in order to make sound business decisions about whether, when and how to enter China’s market. The China Practicum is a day-long immersion course that quickly provides a basic framework to understanding the intricacies of China’s economy, culture and business climate. Taught by a team of seasoned international trade professionals and experts on China, the course covers:  > Chinese economy and market overview  > Market entry strategies  > Chinese business relationships  > Logistical challenges
