Important: WF1 Rewrite Training Information

Workforce One Logo

Hello Workforce One Users and Stakeholders,

This is an important message with several topics so please read all the way through it.

First, we want to acknowledge your continued commitment to our customers and celebrate your strength and creativity during difficult times. You have our deepest respect.

Last week I sent a message asking you to consider submitting WF1 access forms via email instead of via fax or mail. As we got a few questions, I want to clarify that workforceone.deed@state.mn.us is meant only for WF1 access forms intended to be processed centrally by the WF1 Team. Many providers have security administration staff who process their forms. If you work for a provider that has its own security administrators, please continue to send your forms to them.

Now on to the heart of the matter. I know many of you have been waiting to hear what the WF1 Team is planning for training to prepare you for the launch of the WF1 rewrite in August 2014. Below my signature, I am attaching our training plan and the results of the training survey conducted in June. As you may remember, the survey was sent to more than 1,500 of our DHS and WDD program users (i.e. users who work for programs like MFIP, DWP, Dislocated Worker, Youth, Veterans, etc.) to gather their preferences for WF1 rewrite training. Our plan is reflective of those preferences.

We will be in touch as we get closer to when training will begin in June 2014 to let you know how to register for WF1 rewrite training. Please keep in mind that this training is unrelated to the ongoing training we are doing to support the current system. You will continue to hear about those training opportunities as they are scheduled.

I will also be in touch shortly with providers to schedule labs for the rewrite training and to seek their names for the train-the-trainer classes.

If you have questions about the attachments or anything in this message, please contact me by emailing me at annie.tietema@state.mn.us. Please do not reply to this message as it will not go to me.

Thanks for your continued partnership!

Annie
