NEWPORT HEALTHCARE
The State Rapid Response Team (SRRT) received a Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2101 et seq. ("WARN") email from Monroe Operations, LLC d/b/a Newport Healthcare (“Newport”), informing us of the permanent layoff of approximately 68 employees from their facility located at:
- 1726 7th Avenue S, St. Cloud, MN 56301
According to the WARN notice, Newport implemented the permanent layoffs on September 30, 2026, and October 1, 2026.
The affected employees are not represented by a union, and no bumping rights apply.
Positions affected in this layoff/closure are, but are not limited to:
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARPN), Art Therapist, Chef Sous, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Director of Residential Program, Housekeeper, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Manager of Operations, Milieu Counselor, Primary Therapist, Primary Therapist – Nurse Practitioner (NP), Teacher, Therapist Primary NL, Security Guard, Behavioral Health Specialist, Supervisor of Overnight Operations, and Supervisor of Residential Operations.
