 WARN REVISION
ACUITY BRANDS LIGHTING, INC.
The State Rapid Response Team (SRRT) received a Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2101 et seq. ("WARN") REVISION letter from Acuity Brands Lighting (the “Company”) informing us of the closure and layoff of approximately 86 employees from their facility located at:
- 3760 West Fourth St., Winona, MN 55987
Due to the planned closure of Acuity Brands Lighting, employee separations are scheduled to begin on August 16, 2026, with the final phased layoffs and facility closure occurring on November 30, 2026, or during the 30-day period following that date. The revised WARN notice reflects a change to the separation date for 1 employee. All other information remains consistent with the original WARN notice issued on June 17, 2026.
Some of the impacted employees are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 953, and have bumping rights as set forth in the collective bargaining agreement between the Company and IBEW Local 953.

Assembly Cell Operator, CNC Programmer, Custom Assembly Cell Operator, Environmental Health & Safety Manager, Fabrication Operator, Focus Factory Cell Leader, Focus Factory Manager, Maintenance Technician, Manager Purchasing and Scheduling, Manufacturing Engineer, Master Planning Scheduler, Material Handler, Material Coordinator Assembly, Material Coordinator - Buffing/Paint/Custom Assembler, Material Coordinator Fabrication, Material Coordination – CNC Programmer/Custom Fab Op, Material Coordinator - Material Handler, Material Planner, Paint Operator, Paint Setup Operator, Product Documentation Specialist, Production Scheduler, Quality Engineer
