TRANSDEV SERVICES, INC.
The State Rapid Response Team (SRRT) received a Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2101 et seq. ("WARN") email from Transdev Services, Inc. (the “Company”) informing us of the permanent closure and layoff of approximately 84 employees from their facility located at:
- 4300 E. River Road NE, Rochester, MN 55906
According to the WARN notice, Transdev Services, Inc. recently learned that its contract with the City of Rochester will end on or about August 31, 2026. As a result, employees will experience permanent layoffs beginning on August 31, 2026.
The Company has indicated that all affected employees will be offered the opportunity to continue their employment with the new operator assuming responsibility for the contract with the City of Rochester.
Employees are represented by a union, and bumping rights apply.
Positions affected in this layoff/closure are, but are not limited to:
Dispatcher Fixed I, Driver, Paratransit Dispatcher, Utility Worker
