Join us for a VR Community Learning Connections session on Cultivating Balance: Enhancing Well-Being to Support Others!
VR Community Learning Connections is a training series that invites VRS, SSB, and Community Partner staff to join together in shared experience to strengthen skills and grow stronger together in serving Minnesotans with disabilities.
Intended Audience:
VRS, SSB, and Community Partner Staff
Date:
August 7, 2025, 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Description & Learning Objectives:
Recognizing the critical role VRS and SSB staff and community partners play in serving individuals with disabilities, this interactive webinar will empower attendees to enhance their personal well-being—so they can support not only themselves, but also the participants and colleagues they work with. Through the "Wheel of Life" assessment and activity, attendees will gain deeper insight into their own balance and areas for growth. The session will also focus on defining self-care, exploring practical strategies for maintaining mental and emotional resilience, and fostering a sustainable approach to helping others. By prioritizing personal well-being, attendees will be better equipped to create a positive impact in their professional and personal lives.
The session will be recorded.
