VR Community Learning Connections

This training series invites VRS, SSB, and Community Partner staff to join in a shared experience to strengthen skills and grow stronger together in serving Minnesotans with disabilities.

Intended Audience: VRS, SSB, and Community Partner Staff

Training: Foundations and Implications of Working with People Who Are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing (1.5 CRC)

Date: January 30, 2025, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about hearing and vision loss.
  • Understand how hearing loss can impact people in daily life and at work.
  • Identify communication modalities that people with hearing and/or vision loss utilize.
  • Understand the services and supports available and provided by VRS and SSB staff.

The session will be recorded.
