MedTech/Healthcare Trade Mission to Croatia and Slovenia

The Minnesota Trade Office (MTO), in cooperation with Croatian, Slovenian, and local partners, is organizing a Trade Mission to Croatia and Slovenia from May 20 – 24 focused on MedTech and Healthcare. The delegation will travel to the major business centers of Zagreb, Croatia and Ljubljana, Slovenia with mission goals of creating opportunities for Minnesota businesses to sell their goods/services and to develop or strengthen ties with the decision-makers in each country.
Delegates will attend industry briefings, site visits, and networking events with targeted companies and leaders in each city. U.S. Commercial Service Offices and American Chambers of Commerce in both countries will assist with scheduling B2B meetings with Croatian and Slovenian government officials or business leaders, and the itinerary will be organized by MTO Staff.

Suppliers, contractors, and consultants from a Minnesota-based business specializing in the MedTech and Healthcare fields that are interested in entering or expanding in the Balkan market.

- Digital Health / eHealth: Medical devices, solutions or services that will improve the efficiency of healthcare – Funds are available through the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility for digitalization and connectivity.
- High quality medical equipment and consumables.
- Dental - Dental tourism attracts the highest number of medical tourists in Croatia with dental implants and dentures being the most popular services.
- Rehabilitation/physical therapy.
Pricing:
A non-refundable deposit equal to the mission fee of $2,000 is due upon notification that you have been accepted to participate in the mission. This fee covers in-country staff support, in-country group transportation, business briefings and networking events. The mission fee does not include airfare, hotels, transportation, meals outside of specified mission activities, and incidental expenses.
Financial Assistance Available:
State STEP Grant - The STEP Grant program provides financial and technical assistance to qualifying Minnesota small businesses with an active interest in exporting products or services to foreign markets. Small businesses may apply for reimbursement of up to $7,500 (50% matching grant) for approved export-development activities to cover their travel, lodging, meals & incidentals, and other allowable fees, excluding the trade mission fee.
