Opportunity for DEED-VRS Community Partners: Submit a “Letter of Interest” to become a Project SEARCH Provider Agency
DEED-VRS is requesting Letters of Interest (LOI) from VRS Community Partners with a DEED-VRS Professional and Technical (P/T) contract to become the “Provider Agency” at one or both of the following two Project SEARCH sites:
- Children’s Minnesota – Minneapolis (located in Minneapolis)
- Sanford Worthington Medical Center (located in Worthington)
A Project SEARCH Provider Agency provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), Job Placement, and Job Coaching services for students with disabilities participating in the Project SEARCH program.
Note: The Provider Agencies selected for these sites will begin providing services in fall of 2024.
Deadline
Letters of Interest must be emailed to Alyssa Klein, alyssa.klein@state.mn.us, by 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Friday, February 23, 2024.

DEED-VRS and Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) staff are hosting a live webinar on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. This is a time to learn more about Project SEARCH, the role of the Provider Agency, and the Letter of Interest process. There will be time for questions and answers.
