State of Minnesota Trade Mission to Australia
Deadline to Apply: EOB on Friday, June 30, 2023
Governor Tim Walz will lead a trade mission to Australia from November 10-18, 2023. The delegation will travel to the major business centers of Sydney and Melbourne, with mission goals of growing the state's exports of goods and services, showcasing Minnesota as a top destination for business investment, developing new partnership opportunities, and strengthening existing ties.
The business delegation will include four tracks:
- MedTech and Health
- Environmental Technologies
- Agriculture and Food
- Higher Education
*Companies or delegates not in one of the four tracks will be considered on a space-available basis.
Delegates will attend joint events such as receptions, as well as track-specific events, including industry briefings, site visits and networking events with targeted companies and leaders in each city.

Nominations: Governor's International Trade Awards
Deadline to Apply: EOB on Friday, July 7, 2023
The Minnesota Trade Office (MTO) is accepting nominations for the 38th Annual Governor’s International Trade Awards. Traditionally, these prestigious awards are given out each year to honor Minnesota companies that have excelled in the international marketplace. Award recipients will be recognized at an awards ceremony to be scheduled toward the end of this year.
The following four award categories are open for nominations for companies that successfully export goods and services:

Manufactured Goods: Small- to medium-sized company (less than 500 employees)

Agricultural Commodities/Processed Food: Any size company

Services: Small- to medium-sized company in any industry sector (less than 500 employees)

Large Company: in any industry sector (greater than 500 employees)
